The eyebrow mapping is a special measuring technique based on the Golden Ratio of 1.618 (Phi 1.618) used to draw the outline of the most natural looking eyerbows arches for every client’s face. Be sure to choose a PhiBrows artist because one will know that you must always take into consideration all facial features, as well as the shape of the face. Along with colour matching, this is the step that can make or break the entire look.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is microblading?

Microblading is a semi-permanent procedure designed to cosmetically enhance the natural shape of the eyebrow using implantation of safe pigments into the epidermis layer of the skin with a fine blade, mimicking the eyebrows natural hair. The results are crisp, fine and realistic looking. The treatment can last up to 1-2 years depending on the skin type and is a two part procedure - initial consultation/procedure and touch-up.

What is the treatment process?

Every treatment is performed with disposable sterile tools, and the pigments used are produced to the highest standards (phi brows microblading pigments)
The shape of the eyebrows is designed and measured according to the face.
The pigment is chosen on the day to match the natural eyebrow colour, taking into consideration skin tone and style.
Strokes are always etched in the direction of the natural hair growth to achieve the most natural look.

How long does the treatment take?

Your session should take 3-4 hours to complete.

What is a top up?

After a client has had their initial Microblading treatment, a top ip is required 4-6 weeks later, as 15% of the hand drawn strokes can fade or disappear in the weeks after the first treatment. This is a very important part of the treatment and is required in order for the treatment to be complete.

Is it painful?

Microblading is uncomfortable, it is said to be similar to tweezing and threading.
